Brian graduated with a Computer Science Degree from Texas A&M, which is where he met his wife and business partner, Tasha, who also has a technical degree from A&M. Brian then worked for many tech companies, mostly in Silicon Valley.

Through those roles, he began to see a major problem in corporate America, where lots of training was taking place, but it was usually not very interesting or engaging, and very little of it (if any) was being implemented even 6 months later.

Brian had always been passionate about public speaking and presentation skills, and he just knew there had to be a better way. After sitting through another "lukewarm" training, he happened to learn how much his company had paid for it, and he was shocked!

Brian began to study presentation skills and even qualified for the Toastmsters World Championship of Public speaking, making it to the World Semi-Finals!

After 12 countries and 20 years, he began to see inferior technology win against superior ones, because their sales pitch or sales messaging was clear, compelling, and concise—something that is very hard to accomplish.

But, Brian has the unusual combination of technical skills and competence, while also enjoying people, presentations, and effective communication—so he saw an opportunity. He left corporate America and started Perspectivity.

Tasha eventually joined forces with Brian as a partner and compliments Brian’s skills in every way—together, they co-wrote their first book.
